Series – Creative Colouring For Grown Ups

Book

As with all Michael O’Mara Books, this books is printed on bright white, medium thickness pages. I have had no issues with bleed through using fineliners and pencils.

The book is square, and the same size (15x15cm) as Decorative Designs, The Gold Collection and Fabulous Flowers.

The pages are double sided, so shadowing may be an issue if you have a heavy hand.

Some pictures do go into the spine, but the spine is pliable so will become easier to get into with use.

Images

The pictures are unique in this book – a combination of mandalas, patterns and festive designs. The mandalas are snowflake and festive patterns, perfect for this time of year.

The festive scenes are gorgeous, and the mandalas are well drawn.

Line thickness varies throughout the book – some are tiny lines and some are thick lines. There is a variety of large spaces and intricate spaces throughout the book, offering a good variety for anybody’s taste.

Health

If you like both patterns, mandalas and scenes, this book is a good mix of all three. There are pictures that may take a few hours, and some that will take much less time.

This is a good book when you need distraction, no matter your concentration levels. There will be a picture for whatever concentration level you’re at.

I would recommend it for anyone who is looking to start colouring and wants something to cover any mood, pain level and preference of images.

If you would like to purchase a copy (called Winter Wonderland in the UK) it is available via this link.
